This newsletter was created to share insights from my journey with obesity.
Over the years, I realized that tackling obesity requires addressing both mental and emotional aspects, in addition to the physical.
Simply focusing on calories in versus calories out didn’t work for me, and it doesn’t work for most people in the long run.
I had to learn how to manage the constant food noise—the relentless hunger and urges to eat triggered by emotions.
Happy? Eat.
Sad? Eat.
Angry? Eat.
This was also on top of the food triggers. The bottomless pit that could eat a whole cake and still be looking for food.
My newsletter is generally food agnostic, but I personally advocate for low-carb eating. Keto, in particular, is effective for rapid weight loss and reducing inflammation.
However, because my focus is holistic, I wanted a name that reflects this broader perspective.
So, welcome to “Beyond the Food Noise.” The same focus and topics, now with a more inclusive name.
My goal is to help you find lasting solutions to manage your food noise.
